Division of College Admissions & Counselling(DCAC)The DCAC aims to help KMLA students to choose a career based on talents and aptitude after years of happy times at school. The tasks of the DCAC include Domestic College Counselling, International College Counselling, Student Counselling, and Scholarships. We offer regular classes for career guidance and counselling once a week.
The Office of Domestic College Counselling, and International College Counselling guide students through individual counseling and provision of information to both students and their parents as well as collecting the latest data on college application to devise a long-term plan for college entrance. The Office of College Counselling is located at D101 in Dasan Hall. For students or parents needing the latest information on major colleges in Korea or abroad, including brochures, college newspapers and video clips, or for an individual counseling session, the office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
The Office of Student Counselling runs Mentoring programs, the Minjok Peer Tutoring(MPT) program with MPT manager students, Colleague counselling programs as well as individual counselling program. We gain insight into the KMLA student perspective through extensive surveys every semester, to facilitate understanding between students and teachers. We also try to aid students to continue with their study in the case of financial difficulty, by providing students with information on a variety of scholarships.
