In autumn, KMLA stages the Three Generations Sports Festival. Players participate in relay racing, tug-of-war, Korean wrestling (ssireum) and other sports. While most schools in Korea hold a sports day, KMLA’s is distinguished in that not simply students but also their teachers, parents and even grandparents join in many games. This helps to achieve the primary goal of the Three Generations Sports Festival: to strengthen the bonds and solidarity within the KMLA Family while simultaneously doing the same for students and their families across different generations.

As the Three Generations Sports Festival celebrates the value of love and cooperation between family members and within the school community, students learn there are various forms of family and love, values KMLA places great importance on.

The picture above was taken in 2019, before COVID-19. The 2021 Three Generations Sports Festival was successfully held in October thanks to everyone diligently adhering to all COVID-19 prevention protocols.
